    An estimated nine million people in Pakistan have some form of hearing loss. Of these, 1.25 million children are deaf, yet less than 2% attend school.

Deaf Reach at the 17th World Congress of the World Federation of the Deaf

17th World Congress of the World Federation of the Deaf is starting on 28 July, 2015 and ending on 01 August, 2015. Deaf Reach Program is representing Pakistan and showcasing the Pakistan Sign Language for the first time in the Istanbul Congress Center. WFD 2015 is regarded as an interesting Congress which will cover the topics of Health Care, Deaf, Language, Linguistics, Deafness and Sign Language and a lot more.
