Family Educational Services Foundation (FESF) is a non-profit educational organization active in Pakistan since 1984. FESF is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all members of the community, especially those who are disadvantaged.

We invest in educational development and provide innovative training programs and services to enable recipients to gain competency and self-sufficiency, empowering them to reach their full potential.

FESF is approved and eligible for Zakat by Zakat & Ushr Dept., Gov’t of Sindh. All donations are tax exempted. Zakat funds are kept in separate shariah compliant bank. Zakat money is expensed according to the shariah law & principle.

FESF is setup under a license from Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan under section 42 of the Company Ordinance,1984. Approved U/S2(36) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, read with rule 212 of the income rules, 2002.

Programs

  • Deaf Reach

    An estimated nine million people in Pakistan have some form of hearing loss. Of these, 1.25 million children are deaf, yet less than 2% attend school.
  • MOVE

    The MOVE (Motivated Volunteer Empowerment) Program aims to effect social change by training and engaging Pakistani youth in meaningful community development.
  • Eduserve

    The mandate of the Eduserve training program is to strengthen the educational infrastructure by training teachers, administrators, parents and youth.

  • Dast’khat

    Dast’khat is developed under the Deaf Reach domain to create employment opportunities, advocate and create awareness about the Deaf Community.
  • Pakistan Sign Language
    (PSL)

    The native language of any Deaf community is their signed language, which is different and unique in every country. PSL is developed under Deaf Reach domain.
  • Code Ear

    Deaf children can do anything- even code. A joint innitiatve of FESF and Grocode
